Data Sanitization
Data sanitization is the process of permanently deleting digital data using software methods. Unlike physical destruction, this method makes the hardware reusable. Data is overwritten repeatedly (overwrite), cryptographically erased, or software-based wiped. This method irreversibly destroys data.
Our company implements internationally accepted software methods for data sanitization. We use solutions that comply with NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and DoD (U.S. Department of Defense) standards. After the deletion process, device performance tests are conducted to verify its suitability for reuse. All transactions are also logged and reported to our customers with official certificates.
Globally, organizations want to reuse or sell their old hardware. However, data security risks are the biggest obstacle to this process. Data sanitization methods offer an environmentally friendly and economical solution. While this method is particularly preferred by public institutions and banks in Europe, it is increasingly being implemented in Turkey due to compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
Our data media destruction service ensures the reuse of hardware while maintaining security. This approach is both environmentally friendly and economically advantageous.
